Christmas

Christmas, Christmas! So the main part of our Christmas was Disneyland but there were still a few things under the tree. Mostly from Grandparents.

Here is our tree Christmas morning Kevin came home from work and went right to bed. Jana and I woke up a little later and just got to hang out until it was time for Dad to wake up and go get Danniqa. So that is what we did.

Giving grandma kisses. Greg & LeeOra came over to watch the kids open there presents and then we Skyped with Karen while she was at work. So Kev's parents got to be involved with Christmas morning. It was pretty fun to have them.

Then we headed down to Dad & Vicki's house. Danniqa always loves to go to Papa & Nana's house.

Jana Grace was sitting on Vicki's lap next to dad and she would start pullong on his sleeve until he would move over, then she would lay her head down on his shoulder for a minute and then start the process all over again. It was pretty cute. She was loving on Papa.

Then we did facetime with Zach, Meredith, Royal and Atticus. It was so good to talk to and see them. We sure miss them, especially during the holidays. (I kept expecting them and Dustin and Sloane to walk in. It just wasn't the same without everyone.)

We had a very merry Christmas. After being at Papa & Nana's we headed home. We had about and hour until Danniqa had to go back to her mom's house. So she was downstairs playing. I think one of my favorite parts of the day was at the end. Jana was in bed and I went downstairs and sat on the couch. I looked at Danniqa and said, "you should come cuddle with me." She immediately put down her toys and came and sat on the couch and cuddled with me until it was time to go. It was great. I had a marvelous holiday with family! I hope all of you had a great one as well.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve we spent with Kevin's family. We started out with everyone loving on Santa Claus. Isn't this the cutest Santa you have ever seen.

Then we sat around the table and played cards while dinner was cooking. Then we opened presents and ate some yummy food. It was a lot of fun.

Then after we ate everyone sat around and talked.....or slept. It was great fun.

We had a great time with family. Then Kevin headed to work and I went home and went to bed.

Jana Grace

I realize I didn't do a 6 month update. The main thing for that we need to note is baby girl at her 6 month check up was 19 lbs, 13 oz which is the 95% and she was 27 3/4 inches long which is also teh 95%. So she is doing great. She is developmentally right on track. She grabs things and transfers them between hands, she is babbling tons, ps...this is really hard to do while she is sitting next to me wanting to grab the computer and me constantly. She is rolling ALL around. While we were in Disneyland she figured out two new little tricks. She has figured out how to clap. She doesn't do it on cue yet but she will clap. Also she has started making a face when she is inpatient with mom or frustrated. Here is a great picture of it....usually it has a snorting sound with it. oh how I love this little girl.

Disneyland

On December 16th we headed out for Disneyland. We spent four days in between the two parks and one day hanging out at the condo and then the days traveling. We had a lot of laughs, giggles, rides, walks, lines, swimming, lights, characters, autographs and pictures. It was great to go during the Christmas season though probably a little crazy but we had a great time. We came home on the 22nd. Here are some pictures (we took approximately 650 pictures...yikes) Baby girl would sleep in line, on the ride, in the stroller and where ever she could caught a few zzzzs. She did great!

Danniqa LOVED the rides, she would laugh and giggle the whole time. Her favorites are Splash mountain and space mountian.

Out of all the things Danniqa could choose as a souviener she wanted a Dopey hat. So that is what she got.
