Dinner & Menus

I feel like we eat the same few meals all of the time. I am tired of trying to come up with new ideas. My husband usually doesn't have much to offer in ideas. So what are some of your favorite meals and where can I find the recipe. I don't cook without recipes because it doesn't turn out well. HELP ME!!! Please :)

The Day

So today definitely did not go as I had planned. There is a bunch of information that most of you don't want to know. But I got to spend sometime at my OB's office making sure everything is okay. Baby girl and I are both good and I just get to start a new medication. We also got to see her on the Ultrasound. This little girl is one stubborn child already. They still weren't able to see everything that they wanted to see. She was laying on her stomach again, which then her spine casts shadows on everything. They said from everything they could see she looks great. And my blood pressure isn't effecting her growth. I have been working hard to get my blood pressure down. I have been getting up in the morning and doing Yoga Mama (Thank you Julie for the DVD) and then doing relaxation stuff from my hypnobirthing class in at night. It seems to be working a little bit. I do have to say that things happen with the body while pregnant that you never wanted, also there is no longer any private areas of the body. Oh well! :)

Easter Craft March 26, 2011

After getting the crib together it was time for some Easter Crafts! Grandma, Auntie Lissa and I had gone to Micheals in the morning and found this cute idea. So home with it we came. I didn't make one because I ended up helping with three of them.

Dad and Auntie Lissa were taking for ever so we found another way to make an easter basket with paper plates. This was the girls cutting out eggs for the baskets.

Dad made his basket into Spiderman's face.

Getting ready for Baby

Grandma Came down and she bought a crib for the baby. Everyone helped put it together. Thanks Grandma! It looks great!

Reward time!

This smart little girl got all A's again on her report card! She does such a good job so on March 23, 2011 when we got her report card we told her she could choose what she wanted to do for her reward. She chose to go to Classic Fun Center. For those of you who don't know Mon thru Friday from 10am - 4pm you can take kids to Classic and for just $7.50 they can do unlimited bounce toys, pirates climbing cove, skating and 10 tokens for the game area. It is a great deal for the time you end up there. She loves it!

Bon Jovi

From the minute Kevin found out that Bon Jovi was coming to town he kept talking about it. So for Valentine's Day I surprised him with tickets. They definitely weren't the best seats but he got to go. We went to dinner first :) Then headed over. We were in the upper bowl. I have to admit I was not really excited to go to the concert. I was really tired and didn't feel like either standing all night or sitting in those lovely chairs. But I went. :)

I wasn't the most exciting person to be with. And my sweet husband decided to point out that I had started to waddle some, wasn't thrilled with that comment since I was very sore and uncomfortable that night for some reason. But I was actually quite entertained. I didn't know tons of his songs but he puts on a GREAT show. And I had a more enjoyable time then I thought I was going to have :)

Baby update

So I went to Dr. Laine today. Have I mentioned I love my doctor. My iron is low and my blood pressure is high again. So now I have to take iron pills....sorry to all of those who don't want to read this next part. Everyone who I have talked to about this is telling me to be ready for the constipation.....ugh! Also I have to start taking my blood pressure every day again.

Dr. Laine wants me to go in for an ultrasound again next week to check the baby's growth, then see her again the next week. I also have to do another 24 hour urine sample. I will definitely make sure th lid is on tight each time this time. Then when I go in next she will tell me if I can travel or not. Also after that visit I am going to have to start going in for weekly non-stress test. Plus see Dr. Laine again in two weeks and then start seeing her every week.

To say the least I wasn't thrilled to learn all of this. However, I am grateful for a doctor how is proactive and wants to make sure that if anything starts to go wrong she catches it quickly or stops it from happening. Though the thought of getting to go to my doctor's office twice a week doesn't thrill me. It will be okay and I have great people who love me and keep reminding me of this. My doctor told me to try and get my stress down and all of this just stresses me more.

All will be well........right? :)

Water in my Eyes

I was sitting on the couch talking to Danniqa on Wednesday as it was almost time for her to go home. She wasn't very happy about going and I look over and she is wiping her eyes. I asked her if she was okay, her response..... "I just have water in my eyes." I gave her a hug and told her it was okay to cry and tried to make her feel better.

So if you ever see me wiping at my eyes, I am not crying; I just have water in my eyes.

It has taken me a while to get these up. They were taken on the 24th & 25th of Feb. The first one is a profile of her face. With her hand over her eyes. The second......she is definitely a girl.
The first one on this is her cute face , then her mouth doing a kissy face, then the front of her face again.

Under 100

Do you see that number on the side? We are under a 100 days. My sister asked this weekend...how many weeks are you. I replied 26 (now it would be 27). She looked at me and said this is the LONGEST pregnancy. It feels even longer then mine.

I said thanks, I know!

Maybe next time I am pregnant I won't be so excited and tell my family so soon. How knows though.

Miss Danniqa

So we haven't had Miss Danniqa very much due to some craziness. However, this last Wednesday was really good to have her. When we first told her we were having a girl she wasn't really excited. Then when we let her know that we were naming her Jana she didn't like it. She has now warmed up to the name and will talk about Jana all the time. When Jana comes we are going to do this, when Jana comes can we do this.

On Wednesday we went to Bampa and Grandma Taylor's house. Danni was playing ghost but then seh was a nice ghost and wanted to hug everyone. She hugged Bampa, then Grandma, then Dad, Megan came next.....then Megan's tummy and she let us know she was hugging Jana. All I could do was smile.

She also felt the baby move for the first time on Wednesday. We had tried a couple of other times but baby can definitely be stubborn and will stop moving the minute people put htere hand on my stomach. Grandma LeeOra was also able to feel the baby move. She is definitely getting bigger.

Haven't taken very many pictures as of late but hopefully that will change soon.

Private time

Okay friends and family....and possibly strangers. I have decided it is time to go private. Mostly because I don't like some of the key words that are bringing my blog up to strangers.
