I haven't had many fun things going on or many blogs as we are working on our house. My landlord retextured all of our walls and we are now painting all of them. This means that everything is in the center of every room. It is quite a disaster area. But since my sweet little girl is wide awake right now, I might as well write down some thoughts at 4:30 in the morning.
Yesterday when I went to get her from her nap, I open the door and she is waving her hand in front of her face and making a disgusted face. I asked her if she was poopy and she said yes. Sure enough she needed a diaper change. Sometimes after she poops she will bring me a diaper to let me know she needs to be changed.
Changing to a big girl bed has been a tough road of less sleep. She was such a great sleeper in the crib but I would also let her cry herself back to sleep. So she learned of go back to sleep fairly quickly. Well the new found freedom of being able to get up out of bed has made it interesting. What also made it interesting is she knows how to open all of our doors and is tall enough to be able to do it. So I have had to put a child proof handle on the inside of her door so she can't get out. I am trying to get it so she will learn to get herself back to sleep and not end up in my bed every night. So tonight at about 4 I hear her crying. I go in as she tries to open her door toilet her know it is still night time and she needs to go back to bed. But she asks to rock. She looked at me and said "rock, rock" so I rocked her for a few minutes but then laid her down. It is so hard and I may be a mean mom but we need to get this figured out before mister Drew gets here. Anyway she has been crying on and off for awhile. But it is so cute when she comes up to her door and I can hear her knocking on it trying to get me to open it. Usually she calls for me as well. But tonight I keep hearing her call for her dad. She must have given up on me as a lost cause.
Last week after she had calmed down and gone to sleep I had gone in and checked other, she had taken her pajamas off. Silly girl.
The good news. It has been way less time of crying tonight then it was last time, and way less then last week.

School Picture
Look at how cute this girl is! I can't believe how big she is. This is her 2nd grade picture.
It took us forever to get them. The first time they were sent home it was the wrong kid. So then she did the make up pictures. We finally figured out that they were sitting in her desk. She is not the best at bringing things home sometimes.
As a side note, it is a little early, but we have her baptism preview on Sunday. She will be eight in June but they do it for the whole year and want to do it before the crazy of the holiday.
Last week
We had some fun this last week. However, I did not do a good job of taking any pictures. Last Friday, Danniqa had her friend Bridget over. We made pilgram hats out of cookies, chocolate and marshmallows and some fudge. They loved it. We love having Bridget over to play.
Also on Friday I had my three hour glucose test. I found out on Monday that my glucose test came back normal! YEAH! So we don't have to worry about that. I am starting to see the Dr. every other week now. I am 30 weeks. At 34 weeks I will have another ultrasound and I will start having non stress test. So we are doing okay at this point.

Dr. Appointment
On Monday I had a doctor's appointment and an ultrasound.
The ultrasound went great. Little Man is doing really well. I got to see his brain, kidneys, stomache, and legs. They measured him and he his growing well and my amniotic fluid looked great.
Then I went upstairs. I had a glucose test and an iron test, then my blood pressure and met with the doctor. My glucose was high, my iron was low and my blood pressure was high. Basically none of that was great. So on Friday I go in for a three hour glucose test. Praying that it comes back okay as I was just barely over the earlier one. I am working on getting my iron down and I think my blood pressure went up because I had just been told about the glucose and iron. So we will see what happens.
The good news... Baby Drew is looking good.

Scrapbooking
I normally do all of my scrapbooking through memorymixer.com. I have their program and I love the way the pages and books turn out. I also love that when I am done the pages can be safed as jpgs and taken into other programs. I have made a Family History book for Kevin's family. It is about 50 pages. This is expensive to purchase most of the time. However, I was very excited to get an email from snapfish with a deal going on right now. If you print one book it is 40% off, 2 books 50% off and 3 books 70%. So in order to print out the five I needed it would have been over $300. Instead with the price of books plus shipping and handling.....$120. YAY! Anyway, very excited! Here are a few of the pages from my book. There pictures of Greg growing up, Karen growing up, pages on each of the kids, family pictures through the years, then picture of the families now, pictures of grandparents and great-grandparents and of the homes they have lived in. Merry Christmas!
Big girl Bed
With our little man coming in a few months we needed to look at moving Jana to a big girl bed. We had a trundle bed that is easy for her to get on and off and is safe for her. So we moved it into her room on Thursday, Nov 1st. That first nap time was MISERABLE! She did not do well at all. Though over that past two days things have gone so much better. She for the most part is staying in her bed. When she gets up I tell her to get back into her bed and she does so. I also got her a white noise machine so that she isn't hearing so much and trying to get out of her room to see what is going on. My little girl is getting so big!
Dr. Appointment
We had Jana's 15 month check up, even though she is almost 17 months. Our doctor use to have two clinics and now only has one. It took us a while to get in to the doctor.
She is doing great! She is healthy and strong.
Jana is 35 inches tall, the 99% for her age
and 29 lbs, the 96%
She is the same height as the average size 27 month old. She is one tall girlie. We are in size 2T clothes and wearing a size 7 shoe.
I must also say that I am really excited taht I will be starting to take her to nursery this week! I have to stay with her for the first month but I am excited to go.

Halloween
Halloween
We went to "The Square" by our house and went trick or treating. It was fun to see Jana get the hang of it. She would get her first piece of candy, she wouldn't let go of it until we were at the next place. Then she would put htat piece in her bag and get another piece. Danniqa was so good to help out. But I found out it is a lot of work to take a little one trick or treating.
Then we went and did a few houses in our neighborhood. Then it was time to take Danniqa over to her mom's house so she could spend some time with them. Then we went and hung out at Grandma & Grandpa's house for a while. Then we went home and went to bed.
It was a great day and very fun to watch the girls go trick or treating.
teeth
Jana got her two bottom molars during the second week of October. It wasn't much fun and I think she is starting to get her eye teeth.
Bad Day
Tuesday October 30 was a very bad day. We had gotten in from Denver the night before and had dropped Kevin off at work. Then we had to get up in the morning and go pick him up. Of course it was the one day my daughter decided to sleep in and I had to wake her up.
We got home from picking up Kevin and started getting ready for work. I left at 8 am and worked until about 11:30. I walked in and Kevin went to sleep for a couple of hours. I was only home for about 2 1/2 hours. I was trying to multi task and get some work and home things done while still having little girl around. She went downstairs and I didn't think much about it. Then I realized it had been to quiet for to long. I went downstairs and what did I see. A little girl with a marker and a big smile for me. I was not pleased.
Luckily it was washable and came off the wall and book fairly easily.
Then she proceeded to throw many things away that should not have been thrown away. I hate having to dig things out of the garbage can. After doing that and feeding her some lunch... she proceeded to dump sweet and sour pork on my couch. Mom had, had it! I picked her up and took her up to her crib. Mom needed a break, and I needed to clean up the mess without her making another mess.
So I cleaned and then cooled down for a while. During which time she was crying the whole time. When I went and got her after 15 minutes. At which time I found that her leg was stuck in the railings. I felt like a bad mom.
We then went downstairs and played for 30 minutes so that I would like my daughter again. Then it was time to go back to work.
I headed out and got home at 5pm. Kev laided back down, I feed little girl, bathed her and got her in bed. Then went back to working again until 9:30pm. Then I worked on house things like menus until 11pm. Then little girl woke up and wouldn't go back to sleep until midnight.
Basically it was a very long and miserable day. But I do like my daughter again. :)
Denver
On October 28 Jana and I headed out to see my sister! I was so excited to go and see her. Her family moved to Denver a few months ago. So we got there on Sunday about noon. We hung out and just sat and talked for a lot of it. It was nice just to be with them.
Her is Jack reading before bed to the girlies.
Baby Nora! She is so cute!Bath time
Aunt Sausha playing with Jana
Nora sleeping. Jana obviously hasn't been around a lot of babies. The one she has been around is Jake recently. It was pretty funny as Jana kept calling Nora, Jake. It was pretty funny. Then on Monday before we went to the airport we went and played at a park. The girls were so cute adn played really well.
It was so great to go and see them. I hope to make it out there often.
Spooktacular
Oct 27th
Danniqa had her Spooktacular Ice skating show. She has been practicing in class. She got to wear her dopey costume and did a great job.
We had some popcorn that night. It had green food coloring on it. :) Jana loved it.
Danniqa's routine.
Halloween party
Oct 27th
Grandma LeeOra throws a Halloween Party every year! It is always so much fun. Grandpa was gone to Canada this year because Jenny got baptized. But we had fun hanging out, eating yummy soup Grandma made and doing pumpkins.
Snow White and Dopey hanging out

Kev getting excited to have a little boy around
Jana LOVES playing out in the yard. Grandma has little plastic animals around. She gathered them all up.
Most of us did pumpkin tattoos instead of carving them. Much better.
So there were some other kids there and they were much smaller but the mom's were having people use hand sanitizer and were very careful with there kids. My daughter... playing in rocks and eating dirt. :)
Some of the group that was there.
It was a great time! We love playing together at Grandma's house!
