Prayer

We have been working with Jana to have her fold her arms while we pray. Sometimes she does and sometimes she doesn't. Yesterday Danniqa was saying the prayer for dinner and Jana Grace just starts jabbering away. So I look over and her arms are folding and she is "praying". When Danniqa stopped praying Jana stopped. It was so cute. Today whenever Danniqa folded her arms for pray Jana followed. guess we just had to have the right person teaching her.

Friend Friday - on Thursday

Danniqa had Bridget over today. We started out by taking some pictures of the two of them. Then I sent them off to Costco to be printed.

 They also got some playing outside and movie time in. And now they have a picture with their best friend.

Kev just took a picture of the pictures. I bought them but need to scan it in. At Danni's school they do there regular school pictures in uniforms at the beginning of the year but then do a fun one later. Here is this years. Doesn't she look so grown up! I can't believe how big she is! And of course she is just beautiful! I love this kid!

Danniqa is still doing skating and she is loving it. We went to class today and her and Jana were playing through the glass. Jana gets so excited to see her sister. It is so cute.

Danniqa is going to be int he Ice ShowMay 11 & 12 at the Davis Rec center at 7pm. If anyone is interested in coming let me know! She is doing so good and we are so proud of her.

Today was a very pleasant afternoon. It was a little overcast and there was a breezy. It made bubbles so much fun. She didn't even have to blow. The wind did it for her.

Monday and Tuesday I was in St. George. LeeOra, Kev's stepmom went with us. Her cousin lives there and she and Jana hung out with her while I worked in Cedar City and then we hung out that evening. LeeOra's cousing owns a bakery. She brought us over some yummy chocolate doughnuts. Jana loved the doughnuts and she got chocolate all over her hands. And before I got a chance to wipe off her hands......she rubbed her face, and not just a little bit. :)

Taylor dinner

I have been trying to get Kevin's family together more often. We get together with his dad and step-mom all the time. But I want to get together with his Sister Melissa and her husband more often. So we had dinner on Sunday. I had to take pictures to prove it.

Kevin wasn't there for most of it. Sundays are hard with his work schedule. But he stopped by and grabbed food and headed to work.

Blanding

Little Girl and I headed down to Blanding on the 20th. I have a client down that direction and it is a good reason to stop and see my brother Dustin and his wife Sloane. It was great to see them. It is a five hour drive and girlie really did good overall. She was such a mess though because I had to keep handing her food. She was COVERED in crumbs and pieces of food.

 On the road down she had scraped under her eye with a book and it was kind of big. The next morning she woke up and had a black eye. Oh the joys.

 We watched a movie while little girl was sleeping. We took a nap as well. This is Sloane and I. Dustin took the picture.

It was really good to see them. I definitely do not see them enough!

Date night with Dad

Jana & I were gone to Blanding and so Kevin took Danniqa out to a movie. They saw the Lorax, here is a picture from the theater.

 And then she got to spend the night. So they put the tent up in the basement and Danniqa got to sleep there. She was so excited adn tehn played in it in the morning.

Literacy Night

Danniqa's school for the first time had a Literacy night. Basically it was like a choose your adventure. There goal was to get kids excited about reading and to let them learn about some new books.

Atherton: House of Power was the first book we went to they had three levels where people lived and only the top level had books and there were rabbits as food.

 And then after learning about the book they got to make a book themselves.

 Then we went to "Where the Wild things are"

 Then we went to Theodosia series - I think we are going to buy these and start reading them this summer.

 And the last wast Superdog. They had an obstacle course for the kids to do.

It was a great night and we were able to learn about some series that sounded good that I hadn't heard about. I hope they do it again!

Spiderman

Kev's favorite superhero is Spiderman. So the other day I found some spiderman jammies for little girl. So I bought them. He loved it. Here is our cute little girl in her Spiderman jammies.

Misc.

With little girl walking all the time she is also getting into a lot. Here she is in the exersaucer. She won't sit in it any more but she will climb through it.

She also likes to try in sit in things by herself. She will find her bumbo and try and figure out how to get into it. She also does this if her car seat is in the house. She is really awkward and cant figure it out for quite a while but she doesn't give up and usually figures it out.

 Little girl fell off the bed the other day. This is a picture that I sent to Kev to let her know she was okay. She fell off right before bed time. So I let her go to sleep but woke her up a couple of times to make sure she was okay.

On April 19th - Just want to remember

Today we drove past a park named Hatch Park. Danniqa pipes up and says, "I know why it is called Hatch park," why I asked her. Her response, because newborn things go there to play after they hatch. :)

first off....

I hate when things change. This looks so blasted different. Now I will have to figure it out. blah! To tired to do that tonight.

Little girl and I have been gone a lot. We left on Friday and drove to Blanding. We stayed with Dustin and Sloane. It was great to see them. Then we drove home on Saturday. We were gone most of the day on Sunday. Then we went to St. George Monday and came home today. Basically I am really tired so I will catch up on pictures.

10 months

I am a little late on this. But here are some pictures that I took today.

This one cracks me up because she does this face ALL of the time. She closes her eyes and makes a somewhat snorting sound. It is pretty funny.

10 month update

- 2 teeth

- will sign; milk (which we use for drink) and more, which is closer to clapping but at least she is trying.

- on the day she turned 10 months she went on two flights (we went to San Fran for the day) these were her 20 and 21 flights.

- Is such a joy in our lives. She makes me smile, laugh, cry and enjoy life. I love this little girl more then I can say!

Savior of the World

Over the last few months, I have been able to be apart of a production of "Savior of the World." We have practiced and this Thursday and Friday we had our performances. It was such an amazing experience.

Easter Sunday

Kevin wasn't in the picture because he came home early from church. He had been awake for 30 hours. But here is girlie and I on Easter.
