August 3- Day 1 of Vacation

We got up and headed out for the day. Kevin met us at the airport and already had us checked in. Jamie wanted to take the kids to the airport to say goodbye to them there. So LeeOra, Kev's step-mom, came and picked me up. We went to Jamie's and caravan to the airport. We got there and went through all the fun of security and began waiting for the first flight. With flying standby we didn't know which flight we would make it on. We didn't make it the first flight but the girls were so good.

They watched movies on the portable player, explored the airport and were just really good. Danni wanted to sit on her booster seat the whole time though. On the next flight we were watching on line and we could see there were 2 seats left. They started to close the doors without any of us getting on. So I went up to the desk. They were able to get 2 of us on. So Off Danni and I went to Canada. Kevin and Makayla headed home until the 3rd flight of the day like 4 hours later. Karen, Becky, Amy and Jenny came and met us at the airport. Danni was so excited on the flight to get there. But the minute she saw them she was SO shy and wouldn't even talk to them. That was over with by the time we go to the house, she went off and was playing with her cousins just as if they hadn't been apart. We got the three girls to bed and headed to the airport to pick up Kevin and Makayla. Finally at 10pm they made it to Canada. we were so excited that we had made it there. When we got back to the house the three girls were still awake. We had to separate them out by families into different rooms so they could go to sleep, but there were having fun.
