Cousins & birds

February 9 & 10

Jana, Drew and I went down to papa & nana's house on Saturday. We were just going to go down for the day and come home. However, Morgan and his family were out of twon on Saturday so we stayed the night so we could see them on Sunday.

Coloring

The big girls were coloring so of course Jana needed to as well. Nursery has done a great job of teaching her to color only on the paper. She did a great job!

Aquarium

February 7

After Parent Teacher Conference I sent Kev to the Aquarium with the girls. We had Makayla with us and so he took all three girls. Here are some pictures of their time there.

Parent Teacher Confernce

Feb 7

We had Danniqa's parent teacher conference. She has all A's right now and is doing so well in school! Danniqa's teacher talked about how sweet and kind she is and that she is always doing what is asked.
Danniqa is in 3rd grade level for Reading, Math and spelling. I am grateful she is in a charter school so that she can move ahead of her grade level work when she is ready.

The one thing Danniqa doesn't do and doesn't really care about is making sure her learning plan, where they write homework, reading minutes etc, makes it to and from school.

We are so proud of Danniqa and the hard worker she is.

February treats

Feb 6

We were bored and trying to figure out what to do for the day. Danniqa decided she wanted to do a craft and a food treat so we headed out to Micheals to find something to do.

Danniqa picked out some window hangings that she painted first.

And chocolate molds. So we melted some chocolate and made pink and red roses, and some mustaches

 Danniqa wouldn't let me take a picture of her with the mustache in front of her face and Jana wouldn't either. So Drew got to have a mustache.

Everything tasted really good. Even the pink skeleton because we had some left over pink.

Grandma & Grandpa's house

Greg & LeeOra, Kevin's Dad & Stepmom live in Woods Cross, so like 5 minutes from us. I try and make sure that I get the kids over there once a week to play and see Grandma and Grandpa.

Jana loves to play in the closets. She goes in, shuts the door and then comes out saying "Hi."

 She is not allowed, nor is anyone, to eat in the front room. So she will stand right on the edge of the tile. Sometimes she will walk in and I will tell her to go back and so she will shove her food in her mouth really quick so she doesn't have to leave.

Friends

February 1

Danniqa has two best friends, Bridget and Eve. So we had both of them come over on Friday to play. Kev took the three girls swimming at the Rec Center. Then they came back for food and more fun.

Each wanting to take turns holding the baby. Also playing on the Ipad.

We made homemade pizza. We let the girls do all of it themselves.

 After they made dinner they went down stairs and played and played. It was so fun to hear the laughs, giggles, singing and talking coming up the stairs. We enjoy having these girls in our home.
