Ft Worth Zoo

Then we headed to the Zoo! I was really excited because a roommate from when I was 19 lives in Fort Worth and see came to meet us at the Zoo. 

 She loves Grandma and spending time with her.

 She really wanted to sit up on this....

 I have never seen a Giraffe sitting down before.

 We convinced Grandma to go into the bird house with Jana.

 The my friend Donica showed up and Jana was glued to her. At one point Grandma was standing next to Jana and she got pushed away and Jana went and grabbed Donica's hand and pulled her over.

 So fun to see my Friend!

 We had  a great time! Then we went and had some YUMMY BBQ!

It was a great day!

Fort Worth Stockyard

On Sunday we headed down to Ft. Worth.

We started out at the Stockyard. Here is were they do the Rodeo

 

 Jana and I sat on this HUGE cow! It weighs 1700 lbs. She wasn't sure about it but really liked it. She didn't want to get down and she has been asking to ride a cow most days since.

 The kiddos got cowboy hats. Jana loves hers, Drew loves to try and eat his.

 We ate lunch here....it was the BEST steak!

Lake

There was a lake over by Brandon & Melissa's house. So we headed over there. There was people on these cool hydraulic things that used the water to go above the water. It was really fun to watch.

 As soon as she got by the water she got scared and hid behind Lissa

 These two were so good during the day! The traveled well and were pretty happy! (Night time was a whole other ball game!)
