Lagoon - August 5

Friday morning I headed off with Jana Grace for her doctor's appointment. She had her two month check up and was getting her shots. Then we were all going to head to Lagoon for the day. All includes - Kevin, Me, Jana, Makayla, Danniqa, Karen (Kev's mom), Becky (his sister), Brad (Husband) their kids Billy, Adam, Amy, Jenny and Greg(Kev's Dad).
However, after Baby girl got her shots and I started thinking about all I needed to get done I decided it was not a good idea to go so I sent them off without me and Jana Grace. They had a great time and were definitely tired when they got home.

One month pictures July 4, 2011

2 Month Update -

On August 4, 2011 Miss Jana Grace turned 2 months old. On the fifth we had her doctor's appointment. She was 11 lbs 1 oz and 23 1/4 in. Her weight is in the 60 percentile and her height is in the 80th percentile.

During this month

- Jana has started smiling and laughing. She is so cute and I love when she smiles. She has this cute dimple on her right cheek.

- She is keeping her head up most of the time by herself

- She went on her first airplane ride, coming home from Oregon

- She has her mom, dad and big sister WRAPPED around her little finger

- She has gone on many outings to fun places

- Went on a family trip to Oregon

- Took a bottle like a champ

- Went swimming for the first time

- Went to church

- Is oohhed and ahhed at by strangers as we walk through public

- Met her great grand parents and many of my aunts and uncles

The doctor has reported that she is perfect and I think I have to agree.

Dinosaur Museum

On Thursday, August 4th we went to Thanksgiving point Museum. It was just the girls so Grandma Taylor, Aunt Becky, Amy, Jenny, Me, Danniqa, Makayla and Jana. We ate lunch there and had a great time showing Becky and the girls the Museum because they had never been there.

It was a great day and when we got back to Bountiful Bampa was home from his job. He had been gone all week. We had a great time at the Museum. They did all the activities that there was.

Kevin's family

Two days after we got home from Oregon Kevin's sister Becky, her husband Brad and their for kids Billy, Adam, Amy and Jenny came into town.

Kevin was laying on the floor talking to Jana and after several attempts I caught them both smiling and laughing. Isn't this the cutest picture ever.

All the girls went to the mall. Kevin's mom Karen also came into town. So while Karen and Becky were shopping the girls and I went and got some ice cream while we waited.

It was yummy. So with Karen and Becky in town, Melissa - Kevin's other sister- stayed up in Bountiful to be a part of the fun. We spent so much time with family all week long. But the girls had a lot of fun.

Fam Vac - The END

We were driving and I looked in the rear view mirror into the baby mirror and I saw Jana holding on to Danniqa's hand.

So Kevin took a picture. How dang cute is this.

So then it was time to start heading home. On the way there we had Dad and Vicki in one car, Morgan, Jennie and their family, Me and Kevin and the girls, Zach and Meredith and their boys, and Dustin and Sloane with Sausha and Esther. By the time it we were going to go home Zach was going to fly out to China, Kevin and Danniqa were going to fly home and Sloane was taking a train to California. So Morgan and Jennie were the only couple other then dad still together. We were trying to figure out who I would follow to help me out with Jana Grace. Sausha had a BRILLIANT idea. Because Kevin and I and our girls can fly for free Sausha suggested we fly home and take Esther with us and have her sit on Kev's lap. Then Sausha would drive our car teh 16 hours home. So that is what we did! Esther is a really busy girl but luckily she fell asleep right after take off and slept for the whole flight.

Jana Grace's first flight! She did great, she slept most of the way though she woke up to eat.

Danniqa was a great help. Esther LOVES Danniqa.

Fam Vac Part 5 - Lewis & Clark Fort

One day we went out to a Lewis and Clark fort. We walked around and there was a guy who shot a musket.

Vac part 4- Cannon Beach

Two days in a row we went to Haystack rock at Cannon beach. We were trying to see the tide pools. However, the first night the tide had already started to come back in. So we decided to come back the next day.
