Baby Girl update

So I had a doctor's appointment on Monday. I have started doing Non-stress Tests. So they hook me up. An hour and 20 minutes later......ugh.... I am told that Baby girl's heart rate has dropped more then they like a few times, though some is normal, and that especially one didn't recover as fast as they like. So then they had me go down and get an amniotic fluid check done. Luckily this came back great. However, now I get to go to the Doctor's office 2 times a week to be hooked up to the monitors. At this point things are okay but they just want to keep a close watch on her. But I have to say it did freak me out a little.

Day 1

Here is the classic Megan and Julie pose before getting on a plane. We left SLC on Wednesday at approximately 4:45pm and arrived in Paris at 11am on Thursday. We were lucky enough to be in Business class which was AWESOME! We had reclining seats that also had leg rests that came up and got a three course dinner. Business class was definitely the way to go for such a long flight.

We got there and headed to our Hotel, dropped off our bags cleaned up a little and then headed out to explore. We took the train and metros everywhere in Paris. We did a TON of walking, which almost killed me. My body is definitely different being prego.

Then we ate some crepes and headed back to the Hotel. PS....not the greatest hotel ever but cheap and did the job. All we did was sleep there anyway.

Home

I made it home and I was so excited to see my cute husband at the airport. I got to see Danni for a brief moment as well and she gave me a hug and then the baby. I have lots to share about the little adventure. We ended up seeing Paris, Switzerland and going into Italy for a day. However, It is 4 am and my body thinks it needs to be awake because I got some sleep and it thinks it is noon. Oh well. Hopefully I can fall back asleep soon.

I have lots of pictures that I will post and stories to share. Maybe tomorrow....or I guess that is later today.

As another note, only 51 days until my due date?!?! ahhhhh okay. I am still very excited but a certian amount of nervousness is definitely starting to occur. Especially because my doctor is still saying she wont let us go past 39 weeks so that time is even shorter! It is starting to become VERY real....plus she is getting even bigger and so I am feeling her a lot more.

Well I will post and let you know all of the fun stuff I did later! It was fun though.

Growing

We went and volunteered at Danniqa's school this week. I was wearing a maternity shirt and I definitely was looking pregnant and not fat. Danniqa looks at my stomach and looks up at me and says "Jana has grown!" With big eyes. Apparently my stomach was definitely sticking out :). Danni was so excited and it was so cute! I love that little girl.

Dr. Appointment

I had another doctors appointment today. She siad that everything is looking fine still. I asked if that meant I still would need to deliver early and she told me yes. So looks like we should have our baby at the beginning of June. On another note my Doctor okayed it for me to travel last week. So on Wednesday I am headed to Europe! I am just a little excited about the whole thing. Kevin is coming for the first couple of days in Paris. Then he will come home and work and my two friends and I will head to Switzerland and probably go to Italy for a day. So the next time you hear from me I will be home from my last hoorah before this baby girl comes.

Muscles

Kevin was talking to Danniqa on the phone this week. She asked if Jana had grown. Kev said yea she had and that she had been punching my stomache. Danniqa said that she must of grown muscles and was trying to get out. :) She is pretty dang cute. We told her that she has grown but she needed to stay in there for a little while and get a little bigger.

Blogging

I woke up this morning and said to Kevin that we should go out on a date during the day today. It is gorgeous outside and I came up with a bunch of ideas. I am currently sitting her blogging because this is what my cute husband is doing right now..........

Sad day :(. Hopefully he will decided to wake up sometime soon so we can go do something fun.
