Fam Vac Part 3- Seaside fun

We had lots of fun playing on the beach. It was the Condo, the pool and then the beach. So it was MARVELOUS
Danniqa had her dad bury her in the sand. We were also excited that she was enjoying the ocean as previously she did not like it.

Esther LOVED the sand. She would lay in it and act like she was swimming in the sand. She is so dang cute.

Dad took Danniqa to the aquarium in Seaside and a shark exhibit. Danniqa loves under the sea stuff. I think we are going to make this picture big and put it up in her room.

At the Condo they had activities you could pay to do. Danniqa wanted to paint a sand dollar.

Fife Vaction part 2

On Monday we got up and went to the Beach in Newport.

Then we went to Depoe Bay and went to go whale watching. And we saw some so it was very exciting I didn't actually take any pictures of the whales because I was afraid I would actually miss seeing them if I was trying to take a picture.

Then we went to the Aquarium in Newport. This is the kids touching the starfish and other things in the touch pool.

There is a tunnel with the water all around you and even under you. It was really fun to walk through and have the sharks swimming around you.

Then we went to the Tillamook Cheese Factory in order to get Ice Cream. Look at how cute Danniqa and Royal are with Esther.

Then we headed up to the timeshare in Seaside. It was a long fun day. When we got there they had two of the two bedroom condos together and the third one was clear on the other side. So Dad went and talked to them and we stayed where we were that night but then got to move down right next door the next morning. So we had three, two bedroom condos all in a row. It was fun.

Fife family Vacation part 1

On July 22nd we began the Fife family trip. The plan was to go the first day to Boise, the second day to Echo, Oregon, then the next day to Newport Oregon and finally to Seaside. In Seaside we spent several days and then we would head home.

At one point on the way to Boise I look back and Danniqa is under the blanket. She was sound asleep. As we are on the way to Boise, our Air conditioning goes out. We were so excited.

So we get to Boise, Kev goes with Vicki to see about fixing the car. Vicki is from Boise. While Morgan and Jennie and their kids and Danniqa go swimming. Jana and I hung out by the pool.

This was the view we had most of the trip. That is Morgan and Jennie's van.

The Second day we got to my Uncle and Aunt's cabin near Pendleton Oregon. While there we got to ride the four wheelers.

My Aunt Jerrie has Mannequin's in and on her house. She dresses them up for different things. Danniqa calls it the creepy mannequin house. It is kind of creepy the first time you go. But then it just is.

Here is my sister-in-law Sloane with one of the mannequin's. We stayed in Echo Saturday night and went to church in Hermiston on Sunday.

Monday we headed out to Newport. Here we are in The Dalles having lunch at Burgerville. Dad is holding Jana while I eat.

Then we stop at Multnomah Falls. Kevin had never been there. Here we are as our family. I didn't get many more pictures because Jana starting having a very hard time and wouldn't calm down. So the rest of the family hiked up to the bridge and I stayed with miss Jana.

After we left there Kevin and I were driving with Jana in the car. Danniqa was riding with Dad and Vicki. I realized it was going to be time soon to feed the baby. I didn't want to make everyone else stop so then I remembered that I had a bottle and formula in the truck. So I climbed into the back seat, through the trunk and found the formula and bottle. Then came back up and feed the baby a bottle. We made it to Newport Oregon on Sunday night.

Larissa's Play

My dear friend Larissa loves to act. So it was time to go see her at a preformance. Usually I just go with our friend Julie and we are her fan club. We have even worn shirts that we made in the past. This time we brought others with us. Kev came, and then our friends Erin and Mel, plus Erin's daughter Mira and our baby Jana.

We met up with some of our other friends. We were in the singles ward together before I met Kevin. We love Miss Ris!

Jana's first swim

July 20th Jennie, my sister-in-law, called and said they were going swimming at her parent's neighbor's home and asked if we wanted to go. So we said yes. This was Jana Grace's first swimming.
Look at that cute swimming suit. The hat was a little big.

Papa & Darie

My mom's parents and brother Craig came into town on July 19th. So I took Jana over for them to meet.

Sausha and Esther came over with us.

I always love when I get to visit with them. It definitely is not often enough. It was hard to be there with them and wish that my mom could be there. But they love the fact that I named her after the momma.

Gallbladder be gone

So on July 8th I had my gall bladder taken out. They had told me not to nurse miss Jana for 24 hours. So Kev brought her to the hospital with us and I nursed her right before going in. Then we came home. Kevin had to work that night so my dad came and stayed with Jana and I. She was being feed by a bottle so my sweet dad took her for the night and I slept most of the night. Then the next day I started feeding her again. I was on percecet which they said wouldn't do anything to miss Jana Grace except make her sleepy.
The second day Kevin, Jana and I moved down to dad's house for a couple of days so he could still help us out but do what he needed to as well. That night little girl was miserable we couldn't figure out what was wrong. Finally we figured out that she was constipated from the medication. So we ended up giving her a little bit of apple juice and then had diahrea. So basically it was a really rough weekend. But then we got better and went on our way. I was definitely sore but was healing and doing well.
