Tooth be gone

Danniqa lost her first tooth today! It has been REALLY loose for a while. We have been working on getting out. Today Danniqa was working on it and she ate a gummy maple leaf and it popped out when she took a little bite! She is so happy she has lost her first tooth. Her mom was close by so she stopped by to see and Danni sent the tooth back to mom's house so.....

She wrote the tooth fairy a note. Hopefully the tooth fairy will still give her some money ;)

New words

Little girl surprises me. She says dog and the makes dog sounds. And two nights ago we were at Kev's dad's home. Kev came in and pointed to Jana and said "that sounds like Danniqa." I thought he was saying she sounded like Danniqa. LeeOra thought the same thing. Then Jana said something and I swore she was saying Danniqa's name. LeeOra looked at me and said, that sounds like she said Danniqa. Kev then let me know that he already told me that. Opps. She said it three or four more times and even for Aunt Melissa. Then yesterday she didn't say it at all. We now have Danniqa Wednesday at 9 am until Friday at 8:30pm for the summer. So she has been use to seeing her sister the last few mornings. This morning I went to get her from her bed and the first thing out of her mouth "da di ta". She definitely loves her sister.

Splash Pad

Today we went to the Splash Pad out in Foxboro with our neighbors. I don't think I have ever had Jana at a true splash pad though she has been in plenty of water and most of the places have at least one spray thing there. We get there and she was so excited.

 But then she wouldn't even get close to it. A drop would hit her in the face and she would take off.

 But unfortunately for her, she got stuck in the middle. She walked in when the water was off and then it was back.

 So she decided to go ahead a play a little.

 I am such a mean mom. Whenever she would be playing with a spot where the water comes out. I would pull the camera at and hope that it would turn on.....but they came on slow so she could get out of the way.

 (Blogger turned some of my photos and I can't get them to turn back.) But she got a little braver as time went on.

 Her and Brindi had a lot of fun. They would follow each other around.

1 year!

My baby is 1! I can't believe that a whole year has gone. Here are some pictures....

Little girl is so much fun! She is walking and some times trying to run around the room.
She is saying several words including: mama, dada, da (for danni), ease (please), this, dog, I think eat as well.
She signs; please, food, milk and more
She LOVES her big sister. She gets so excited when she comes and cries when she is gone.
She does the stairs, up and down like a pro.
She loves music. She will walk around with my phone playing disney songs on pandora and dancing with the music.
She gets excited everytime we turn on skype to call Grandma
Whenever there is a baby doll she puts it up to her shoulder and pats it on the back.
She loves books. She will sit and read books and choose a book over a toy.
She gets excited whenever she sees other little kids. She screams and tries to get to them.
She is SO loud!
Whatever mom and Dad are doing she wants to be a part of.
She loves food. Luckily for the most part we haven't found anything that she truly hates.
She takes better naps for everyone else besides me.
When we go to Grandma LeeOra's house she has some books there. She always brings grandma the same book to read and brings me a different book. She only brings those books to us. No other ones.
She has two teeth but does a really good job and biting and chewing her food with just those two.
She is such a happy easy going baby.
She is a light and a joy in our lives.

3rd tooth

It finally looks like we may be getting a third tooth. I noticed yesterday the 10th, just a slight little bit sticking out on the top. My two tooth child may just get more. :) And no wonder she is grumpy. I leave her for a week, she is getting teeth. etc, etc.

Fife birthday party

Today June 11 we had a Fife birthday party. There are 5 birthday's with in eight days. Asher (May 27), Royal (May 28), Atticus (June 1), Jana (June 4), Danniqa (June 5).

Asher got his birthday present and the three one year olds were all enjoying it.

It was a very fun time with cousins. Royal and Atticus are going to be going up to their grandma's until July so it was fun to get to play and have all the cousins together.

Hong Kong

June 4th.

The great mom that I am I left on my baby's first birthday to go to Hong Kong. My purpose in going was to help my sister-in-law Meredith get back with her two boys for the summer. They live in China. Kev decided that we should go and make a trip of it. I have a hard time wanting to post these pictures because I really didn't have a good time on this trip. We left on Monday flew to Portland, then Tokyo and then to Hong Kong. We got there on Tuesday at 11:30pm. It was long. But luckily on the way there we were in Business class the whole way. Including from Toyko - Hong Kong we were in seats that are the pods that lay flat. It was great. We stayed at the YWCA in Hong Kong. We had a room with two beds and our bathrooms were shared down the hall. But it was cheap, Hong Kong is really expensive. We just went and went to bed.

On Wednesday we got up really early because we were on the wrong time. It is 14 hours ahead. We headed to Victoria's Peak.We took a cable car up to the top of the peak.

 Then afterward we went to Lantau Island. This is the glass bottom car we were in as we were going up the mountain 

 Before 2007 it was the largest outdoor Buddha. It is really large. There were 248 steps to go up to be at the base. We went up walked around and then came down.

 The next day we went to the monastery of the ten thousand Buddhas. It was a long walk up the hillside but was interesting to see all the Buddhas up and down the walk.

Then we went to Nan Liam Garden. It is right in the middle of the city. It was gorgeous.

The camera that had most of the pictures of us on them is the one that was lost. It was so hot and humid there. I don't think I have ever been in that much humidity in my life! It was crazy!

We met up with my brother Zach and his family on Thursday afternoon. On Friday morning we headed to the airport at 7am. We were trying to go straight from Hong Kong to Detriot. We were traveling with Kev, Me, Meredith, Royal (5) and Atticus (1). This is a 14 hour flight. We were in coach. Atticus was miserable and it was a VERY long day. We ended up traveling over 25 hours before we got home and Atticus maybe slept 4 hours. Poor Meredith was exhausted. Atticus didn't want anyone but her on the flights.
