I am currently in Canada playing with Kevin's family. Kevin and Danniqa left this morning and Jana and I will be here for a few more days. I will update about our trip probably next week. I am coming home on Wednesday and having surgery on Friday. So all of that will be done later.

Hospital Trip
So at about three in the morning I woke up in a ton of pain. It felt like it was all in my back and muscle spasms. So after trying to make it better myself I woke up my husband. I asked him to get me some bread because I had taken some medicine. He went downstairs and then climbed back into bed. I tried to deal with it some more and then ended up waking him up again. He gave me a blessing and was rubbing my back. It was so sweet. The baby girl woke up and he was taking care of her. I took a hot shower trying to make it better and laid on a heating pad. As my back started to feel a little better I realized the pain was actually on my right side. Miserable!
As things continued on I was crying, doubled over and throwing up. I was actually in more pain then I had been with Labor......CRAZY!!!
So Kev got Jana in her car seat adn we headed to the hospital.
We got there and as soon as they saw were I was holding my side and asked me a few questions they told me they thought it was my gallbladder but wanted to run some test. The ultrasound tech didn't get there until 7am. But luckily they gave me some pain medication, after sticking me several times in order to get a vein that would give them blood and get an IV in me.
The Ultrasound came back and I have gall stones. Apparently this is really common with pregnancy.... who would have known. So the only treatment is to have your gallbladder taken out. I kind of just wanted to do it that day. But the doctor wanted to give me time to pump so that we could still feed Jana while I have surgery. So we go in for a consult on Monday afternoon and then will probably have surgery the 5th or 6th of July after we get back from Canada.
They sent me home with some pain medication and told me there is a chance I won't have another attack before it is taken out. That is what we are hoping for. Now Kevin and I are just really tired. I am ready to head to bed soon. My husband was great today and I was very grateful he was home last night and not at work.

The rest of the week
Saturday
Saturday June 18th was our 1 year anniversay. My cute husband looked at me and asked if I thought we could make it another year. I looked at him and said, "Really? I am planning on a lot more then just one more year." He just laughed at me. We didn't do anything really to celebrate because we just had a baby. Kevin went and helped my sister move in the morning. Then I went and visited with some friends. While there I decided to cut my hair. It is now shoulder length. I hadn't planned to cut my hair and so when I woke Kev up I told him thank you for my present. :) He just smiled. Luckily he likes it.
Sunday
Of course it was Father's Day. So we were able to have Danniqa with us which is always wonderful. Also my nephew Asher was blessed. That was fun because we got to see everyone. We had lunch and visited at Jennie's parents home. Danniqa and the boys were off playing I barely saw them. When I told her it was time to go she said "Why?" I almost did the classic, "Because I said so." but I refrained. We did end up leaving, going to Kevin's parents house and then heading home. It was a really good day. Though my sweet husband ended up only getting 3 hours of sleep and that wasn't all together.
Baby Girl update
Some days she is sleeping better. Other nights not so much. She is still eating about everything 3 hours sometimes we go 4 hours at night. If she gets up and eats and goes right back to sleep I am fine. The nights that she wakes up, eats and then stays up for an hour and a half are a lot harder. But we are figuring it out.
She is so cute and fun. We just sit and look at her and I love just talking to her when she is awake...unless it is in the middle of the night.
She looks like she is starting to fill out a little, though she is still wearing the newborn clothes. 0-3 month is HUGE on her. Danniqa still loves just sitting and holding her and picking out her clothes. Kevin is thinking that she looks more like me. I don't know what I think but I think she is cute!
Miss Jana Grace is eating well and we continue to try and figure everything out.

Cousins
On Friday the 17th Kevin, Danniqa, Jana and I headed down to Dad's house and met Jennie and the boys there. Here is a picture of Asher and Jana. Asher is 8 days older then Jana. I think they are pretty cute. Also they have matching blankets, Vicki gave them to us.
Danniqa is only 5 months older than Dashiel and they play great together. Jennie says she loves it because Dashiel gets some of his own medicine. Dashiel is in charge of all the play when he is home. He is not when Danniqa is around. For example, I went downstairs to check on them and they had been watching a movie. I asked them if they were done watching it and Danniqa just looks at me. Dashiel then says that he still wanted to watch it but Danni had turned it off. Then he pointed to the top of a book shelf and says, She put the remote up there so I couldn't get it. Jennie laughed. I let Danniqa know that he could watch it if he wanted and turned it back on.
Play time
For those of you in Utah and haven't heard of kidsbowlfree.com check it out. Kids can get 2 free games a day from May thru August. You just have to pay for shoes, and you can get up to four adults for $25 for the same stuff. So we signed up. Kev took Danniqa bowling last Wednesday. I stayed home with the baby and relaxed and blogged. Danniqa of course won and had a great time.

check up
I was able to leave the hospital earlier then they like but I had to have Jana in for a check up 2 days later. At birth on June 4th she was 7 lbs 1 oz. On Tuesday June 7th she was 6 lbs 10 oz. Today we met our Pediatrician. He is the same one Zach & Meredith use and Sausha & Jack use. After only one meeting I love him! He is great. Baby Jana was back up to her birth weight today, June 15th, at 7 lbs 1 oz. Dr. Ralston said she looked great and that I seemed to be doing well also. He answered my questions and didn't make me feel dumb which was great. Overall it was a wonderful experience and Miss Jana is healthy as can be!
A Visit
Miss Jana and I went to visit my best friend Melissa from High School. And she has a baby girl that was born 3 months before Jana. Eden is Melissa's fourth baby. And oh my is she adorable! She has rolls upon rolls that you just want to squeeze and kiss. Here our a couple of pictures. It was a completely enjoyable time and I hope our girlies will end up great friends. Her older daughter is also about the same age as Danniqa. I just didn't have Danniqa with me.
