So we went to the doctor yesterday. We had our amniotic fluid checked, non stress test and met with Dr. Laine. I begged her to induce me. But alas.....it did not happen. However, she did tell me that she will induce me on June 4th. Which means Miss Jana will possibly come on her sister's birthday, which I said I didn't want to happen but at this point I don't care. That means 10 more days and we will be having a baby! I can count that on two hands.....what the what? I am excited and I get to admit slightly nervous.
A fun little update on Miss Danniqa. She will be turning 6 on June 5th. She is so fun and just has the funniest little personality. Last week when she was here, we were eating dinner and she looked at us and said she was done. I said okay and she took care of her plate and went on her way. Kevin and Danniqa were downstairs a little while later and Danniqa looks at Kev and says "Dad, I am hungry." Kev said "Didn't you just say you were full?" Danniqa replied. "No, I said I was DONE, not Full."
After Kev laughed and came and told me she got a little snack. Apparently she was just done with what we were having for dinner, but still wanted something else to eat.
We love having her with us. She is so excited for her sister to come. Today when I picked her up from school I was telling her that there is a chance her sister is going to be born on her birthday. I asked her if that was okay and if she wanted a sister for her birthday present. She told me yes and then asked "Can we wrap her up in a box?" I laughed and said probably not but we can put a bow on her head. She said that would be okay.
Life is good, we are happy, healthy and excited.

Baby Shower
So today we had a baby shower! I got to go, my sister, told me that I had to make sure I stayed down while there and didn't do tons. So I did the best I could. It was fun to get out and to see people.
We got so many great gifts and everyone was so generous and sweet. So if you are one of them know that we are really grateful! My friend also gave us all of her 0-3 month baby clothes. I really think that our little girl may never have to wear the same outfit twice for the first three months of her life.
Then I came home and was good and got back into my bed.
Thank you all! and I am feeling more prepared to have this little girl come and join us.

Nursery
This is my friend Heather and her mom Kathy. They made me into their project and made the cutest nursery ever. It is in these great fun colors and it is polka dots and stripes! They are wonderful, sweet and crafty and I can't thank them enough for all they did!!
They made this cute mobile and painted the letters to match the colors. This is over her crib
Then they found this lamp and painted it and put buttons on the shade.

AHH
So leaving my doctor's office today I must admitted I felt like crying some. My fluids were low again. She consulted with a high risk OB and because everything else is looking good they want to leave miss baby girl in as long as possible. I think I wanted to cry when she stated that this could basically go on until 39 weeks if nothing else changes. That is four more weeks! But I have to remember I want a healthy baby so hopefully all goes well and I am sure I will be okay with it by tomorrow.
On another note we had mediation today for custody stuff with Danniqa. We did not get as much as we had originally hoped or wanted. However, we do get her for time every week and we have a set schedule. Kev doesn't have to call and ask every day if he can have her or not. So we will be able to plan and enjoy the time we get. Kevin is happy with the arrangement even though it isn't as much, I think partly because it is more then we have had the last couple of months. He gets to have her for one overnight every week half of the year with two full days, then for 3 months during tax season and the 3 months of summer he gets her two overnights but it is the full day for three days. So he is excited. There were some other little things that got to be worked out as well so overall we are happy. Plus now we won't have to do more legal, court and custody examiner fees.

Bed Rest
So we continue on Bed rest. When we went in on Thursday our little girls fluids were looking a lot better but my doctor still wanted me to stay on Bed rest until Monday when we go back in to get checked again.
My dad laughs at me as I am struggling to stay down because he says if it was a choice I would be so excited. But because I am being told I have to stay down I am going a little crazy.
My Sister informed me that if everything goes well with the baby she will be very bitter. I laughed. She said it has been bad enough that I didn't have morning sickness, she was SO, SO sick for a long time, but if I have her soon my pregnancy will be almost 2 months shorter then hers and do I know how long that is in Pregnancy time. That is forever! I just smiled and laughed.
I also have two sister-in-laws who are pregnant right now. I am suppose to be the last to have a baby. So I was talking to the one who is suppose to deliver first. She said she will be really upset if she is the last instead of the first.
Overall we are okay. We are just sitting and trying to entertain ourselves. I have heard from many friends and family members who have had to be on bed rest for a lot longer or when there wasn't as much to entertain themselves with. I guess I can't complain to much and we will just keep hanging out.
We will keep you updated.
We have mediation Monday morning for the custody stuff with Danniqa and then our doctors appointment in the afternoon. So Monday will be a big day! Keep us in your prayers.

Baby Baby!
So yes, it is the middle of the night and I am WIDE awake. So today...I guess yesterday we went in for our ultrasound at 3:30pm. Baby Jana's growth is good and she was measuring in the 60%. Then the ultrasound showed that my amniotic fluid was low. I guess if it is below a level of 5 it is considered severe. I am at a 5.08 so there was some concern.
We were then sent upstairs to visit with our doctor. She started talking to me about what this meant and what the options were. I started to cry. She told me "If you were 36 weeks I would tell you we were having a baby today but you are 34." So she checked to make sure I wasn't leaking amniotic fluid, which I am not. We decided that I would go up to the hospital and have the non stress test done there and get a steroid shot for her lungs. Dr. Laine did tell me that before 34 weeks it is proven that the shot helps with lungs. From 34 to 36 weeks it is fuzzy whether it helps or not. We decided better safe then sorry. She then told me as I was crying to remember that the baby is going to be fine. We are 2 weeks past the time that they really worry. That if she were to come we would have no long term health effects. This helped me calm down. Kevin is just excited for a baby and doesn't understand why I am stressing.
We headed up to LDS hospital. There I was hooked up to monitors to watch the baby's heartbeat and to see whether I was having contractions. Baby looked good. So they gave me the shot and let me go home. I get to go back 24 hours later in order to have the 2 shot. Then I go in again on Thursday to see where we are at.
Dr. Laine asked me about me job and told me to stay down as much as possible. So all evening I was trying to figure out how to do my job and still follow the directions...or kind of. I spoke with my bosses and a co worker. I was going to stay down but then just drive to my appointments and still be sitting down then come home. BUT after waking up in the middle of the night stressed about everything I changed my mind.
I am going to be SO good for the next two days. I am going to stay down and not work. I am going to try and entertain myself in my bed. I am going to drink so much fluid that I am going to feel like I am going to BURST. Then I am hoping when we go back on Thursday everything will be okay and I can work my butt of for the rest of this week and next. Because it looks like this little girl is most likely coming early.
Kevin and I left the hospital and headed to his dad's house where my sweet husband and his dad gave us a blessing. I do know that everything will be okay....just not sure how that is going to look or when all of it is going to take place.
I am still very emotional even knowing it will be okay. I have lots to do to be ready for this baby. And all my husband cane keep doing is being excited and wanting her to come. So know we get to figure it out.
But we are okay. I know that my Heavenly Father is VERY aware of us. I know that when she comes, she comes and that we will both be healthy and good. And I know that I have lots of people praying for us. I am SO grateful for my loving and supporting friends and family!
Thats all for now as I am sitting here crying. Hopefully now that I have made the decision to stay down and have sent out emails to make that possible I can get some sleep!

Fun School Pics
Because they were school uniforms I guess they also have a day with just whatever they want to wear. Don't look to close at her outfit or the stamps all over her arms. But at least she was smiling! She is adorable! I love this girlie
