Graham Cracker Trains

We read Christmas Train by President Monson

Then we made Graham Cracker trains at Grandpa and Grandma's house. (Kev and Grandpa were out taking care of our car that didn't want to start)

We put Jana in the Chair and locked her in so that we would know where she was

 Grandma got the Candy ready

 Jana decided to get some stuck to her head.

 We learned last year it is easier to hot glue the graham crackers together (since we don't eat it anyway) and then use the royal icing for the candy. So that is what we did again. Danniqa got to design and make it however she wanted. She wanted two long cars and a short engine and caboose. So that is what we had.

 Then she decided that this year we needed a train station in front of it.

 The finished product! She did a great job. She worked really hard, did some problem solving, came up with new ideas and we had a great time doing it.

 Wanted a picture with Jana in it!

Then Grandpa and Grandma came to our house. I had a work Christmas party and so they watched the girls, took Danniqa home, put Jana to bed. And surprised me with a very clean house when I got home! They are so good to us. I am so grateful for all that they do!

And my work Christmas party was awesome!
