Van door

So our van doors are automatic. Right inside the van door is a button that can open adn close the door. Jana is such a big girl. If you unlock her car she will get out push the button get out of the car and then reach in and hit the button to close the door.

 

Well as we got home from the doctor's appointments she did this. However, she didn't move the hand on the drivers door that she leans on to push the button. The van door SHUT on her THUMB! It was not a pleasant experience for her or mom.

 

We came inside and Kevin gave her a blessing. Then I decided I should take her to Instacare to have it checked out just in case. We went and after we were there for a little bit she started to move it and use it again. The doctor decided that we should still xray it just to make sure there were not any hairline fractures. I was happy about this. She got xrayed and everything was fine. She was bruised a little bit but didn't seem to bugged by it.

 

--At this point she is doing much  better. She did hit it yesterday and cried for a minute.  But otherwise she is doing fine. Kev tried to get her to touch the button to close the door. She freaked out. She isn't trying to shut the door any more.
